Nourish to Flourish

Taking care of YOU is very important for your overall health and wellness.
You cannot pour from an empty cup and if you want to be there for family, friends, and co-workers, you have to be taken care of too. Self-care is not only bubble baths, massages, and retail therapy. Below are some other great options for the wellness of body and mind.

  • Set boundaries with people, social media, the news, electronics and work
  • Say “No” to more things, especially things that do not serve you well
  • Nourish your body with whole, quality, nutrient dense foods (at least 80 percent of the time)
  • Make sleep a priority and try to get 7-9 hours of sleep every night
  • Drink enough water (half of your body weight in ounces daily)
  • Move your body throughout the day
  • Get outdoors and in the sunshine
  • Nourish your mind (read, meditate, learn something you’ve been wanting to learn, etc)
  • Start or end each day reflecting and writing in a gratitude journal

Bottom line: make your personal health and wellness a priority!
